Anklet Style – Creating Your Own Jewelry Fads
Most women pack away their anklets in the wintertime and then bring them out in the summer, because they’re simply not the kind of jewelry that you can wear with socks or boots. In other words, they just aren’t practical with winter clothing. But, when summer comes around, anklets are worn in so many different ways, you can create your own anklet style.
If you don’t have any anklets in your jewelry box, you may want to hurry up and get a custom made one after you see how they can add to your look. Here are some ideas to get you going:
Jewelry is often about making a statement. The multi-chain anklet with heels on the left adds to the entire look of not just the ankle, but also the shoe, bringing a classic chunky black heel to another level of fashion. The anklet-toe-ring is a totally different style, and while you may wonder what kind of shoes you can wear with that kind of jewelry, just slip on a pair of flip flops and you’ve brought a super casual shoe to another level, as well.
The dainty anklet above is perfect for dressier occasions, like weddings. And, if you’re not a “toe-person”, but want to wear open toed shoes, anklets will distract the attention from the toes and attract it to the ankle area.
As you can see, you can create just about any style you want with anklets and shoes. There is just one big no-no that you never want to try:
Despite the word “stylish” scrawled across the picture (must admit, the rest of the ensemble does look fab!), the last thing you want to do is mimic Eve’s anklet wearing style above.
